Ajay Binay Institute of Technology was established in 1998 with the aim to bridge the gap in skilled technical manpower for industries and extending technical education to rural areas of Odisha. It is a part of ABIT group of Institutions.

Ajay Binay Institute of Technology is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT), Odisha and has been approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).
