ANITS is a private, autonomous engineering college founded in 2001, located at Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The institute is affiliated with Andhra University and is well recognized by AICTE and UGC. It also holds accreditations from NAAC with an 'A' grade and NBA for several of its engineering programs. It was ranked in the NIRF 2022 band of 251-300 for engineering institutions.
The Institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mainly engineering and management-based. Its flagship B.Tech program includes in-demand branches like Computer Science Engineering (240 seats), Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (240 seats), Data Science (180 seats), and Electronics & Communication Engineering (180 seats). At the postgraduate level, ANITS includes various specializations for its M.Tech programs, such as AI & ML, Data Science, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Machine Design, etc., under which the seat intake ranges from 9 to 18. The MBA in Hospital Administration program has 60 seats.
Admissions to ANITS are conducted mainly through entrance exams. For B.Tech, 70% of the seats are filled through the AP EAPCET exam, based on rank, preference, and reservation policies. Admission into the remaining 30% of the seats is done under either the Management or NRI quota, following APSCHE and state government rules. Lateral entry to 10% of seats is achieved through the ECET for diploma holders directly into the second year. A bachelor's degree in B.Tech or equivalent with a valid score through GATE or PGECET is the minimum requirement for eligibility for M.Tech. Sponsored candidates are also accepted, but limited to a maximum of two per specialization and five per department.
The B.Tech programs are priced at INR 3.36 lakhs for four years, while the M.Tech programs cost INR 1 lakh for two years. The MBA in Hospital Administration is offered at Rs 70,000 for the full programme. The cutoff for B.Tech Computer Science Engineering fell at 6335 (Round 1) and 6639 (Round 2) under the general category. The final cutoff was nearly 8421-9838 for AI & ML, while Data Science was around 9598-12610.
NIRF report 2025 states that for the academic year 2023-24, as many as 729 out of 1164 B. Tech students were placed with a median package of INR 4.5 LPA. The placement in M. Tech also improves, as 37 students out of 49 get placed with a median salary of INR 4.25 LPA. The Highest Package Recorded was INR 7.5 LPA, while the Average Salary Range Varied Between INR 3.6 to 4 LPA.

ANITS Courses & Fees 2025
ANITS offers 17 courses at the UG, PG levels on its campus. The courses are offered in fields like Engineering and Management. B.Tech is the flagship course here. ANITS B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering Fees are INR 3.36 Lakhs for the 4-year program. Earlier, the fees were INR 2.4 Lakhs in 2023 - 2024.
ANITS MBA Fees are INR 70,000 for the 2-year program. The M.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Fees at ANITS are INR 1 Lakh for the 2-year program. Earlier, the fees were INR 86,000 in 2023 - 2024. ANITS courses and fees are given below, along with the course-wise eligibility.

ANITS Admission 2025
Out of the total capacity of ANITS seats for B.Tech, 70% are filled by the EAPCET exam. The seats among students are distributed by the government according to their ranks, preferences, and reservation policies. 30% of the seats, which are not filled by EAPCET, are filled by the college under the Management or NRI quotas, by APSCHE, and state government rules.
Also, diploma holders may now join directly into the second year of the B.Tech course through the ECET exam. This is termed Maternal entry, and 10% per course is allotted through it based on the student's ECET rank, choices, as well as reservation rules.
An applicant should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in an appropriate discipline from a recognized university to be eligible for the M. Tech full-time course. In addition, a candidate with AMIE or AMIETE qualifications (considered equivalent to B. Tech) and holding a valid GATE score can also apply.
In addition to these, sponsored candidates can be admitted to any course of study. However, a limit of two such sponsored candidates is placed for each specialization, and five for each of the departments. These seats are treated as extra and do not impact the general seat count.
The sponsoring organization should also provide a formal relief statement for study leave for a full-time M.Tech course. He should also comply with local and non-local criteria as per the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions Admission Regulations, 1974, and subsequent amendments.
