Gauhati Commerce College Admissions

Candidates who have completed 10+2 from the commerce/arts/science streams are eligible to apply for the B.Com course. For UG (BBA and B.Com) courses, candidates who have completed 10+2 from the commerce/arts/science streams or have a Diploma in Engineering, with 40% marks are eligible to apply. Candidates who are graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply for the PG (MBA, M.Com, and PGDCA) courses.

M.Com and PGDCA course seats will be allotted on the basis of merit in the qualifying degree examination. MBA seats will be allotted on the basis of scores obtained in an entrance test conducted by the college, followed by the performance in a group discussion and personal interview round.

Special Incentives for Meritorious Students: Free admission into the first year of the B.Com course to students who have secured 1st five positions in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

Special Incentives for economically weak, meritorious girl students: All required textbooks will be sponsored by the Gauhati Commerce College Women’s Forum for one girl child of the B.Com first-year course, who have secured minimum 55% marks in the qualifying 10+2 examination and whose family’s annual income is less than 50,000.
