The Institute of Engineering and Technology, established in 2005, is located in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh and is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technological Education, (AICTE).
It offers B. Tech as a UG program and MBA as a P Program. Admissions to B.Tech is merit or entrance based. However, entrance is preferred. Admissions to MBA are entrance based.
IET Sitapur Courses Admissions
Admission in IET is either merit-based or through entrance exams. Till 2020, UPSEE was the key examination for admission to this college. However, UPSEE has been scrapped and admissions will take place on the basis of the score obtained in JEE Mains.
For admission in B.Tech, candidates must achieve a qualifying score in JEE Mains which is conducted every year.
In the case of an MBA, candidates must clear one of the common tests conducted in the country such as CAT, MAT, CMAT. They must also fulfill the basic eligibility requirements for the course and specialization of their choice.

IET Sitapur Courses Scholarships
Deserving and academically driven students might have a chance of getting a scholarship. While there are no scholarships specific to the institute, several scholarships are given to students by the Central and state governments such as Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities, Pre Matric Scholarship scheme, etc.
The Post Matric Scholarship for Minorities is given to students coming from backward, marginalized, and minority communities. This scholarship is given by the MHRD, Government of India to students of Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. The duration of the scholarship can be from 6 months to 5 years, depending upon the duration of the students’ degree. The average scholarship a student can get is from 4 thousand to 5 lakh rupees.
Eligibility Criteria - The candidate must have Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as their compulsory subjects at school/undergraduate / postgraduate level.
