The Institute of Hotel Management Bodhgaya is a premier Institute in Bihar as well as in India providing Degree & Diploma Programmes in Hospitality and Hotel Industry. Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar in Collaboration with Ministry of Tourism, Government of India has established “INSTITUTE OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT, CATERING TECHNOLOGY AND APPLIED NUTRITION AT BODHGAYA” in Gaya, Bihar in the Year 2009 for the training of 10+2 passed out students in the Catering & Hospitality Sector. The Institute is Affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology ( NCHMCT), Noida which is Under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India & the Degree is awarded by Jawahar Lal Nehru University (JNU) New Delhi.
Campus
The Institute of Hotel Management Bodhgaya is constructed on 5 acres of Land allotted by Government of Bihar at Gaya-Dobhi Road opposite to Magadh university, Bodhgaya.
The Institute is equipped with its Kitchen, Bakery & Confectionery, Restaurants and Computer Lab with Modern Updated equipment to meet the basic training in the field of Hotel & Catering Industry.
Library
The library stocks a sufficient volume of excellent reference books of various disciplines, which are constantly used by the students and the faculty. The library also subscribes to magazines, periodicals & journals related to the hotel industry and some others of general interest. Besides, the Institute has educational video cassettes and CD’s which are very informative and are frequently used as a teaching aid. An updated library is a top priority of the Institute for student's educational development.

The Institute of Hotel Management, Bodhgaya is the most coveted institute in India and largely draws the attention of students and faculty from all over the Country. The institute provides appropriate learning opportunity in acquiring various strength, stamina and skill so that the outcome must be "student properly groomed for industries". Eventually they become the strength and results in growth and development for the hospitality industries.
Here it is to note that hospitality industries comprise of Hotels, The Airlines, The Cruise Lines, The Hospitals, Industrial Canteen and other various arenas, where Food and Beverage, Accommodation and many other facilities are served with a warm smile. The hospitality industries is the second largest industries after the exports which generate tremendous employment and business opportunity.
At Institute of Hotel Management Bodhgaya, the aim is to produce proficient experts fit for all the sector of hospitality industry. The various courses that are being offered at Institute of Hotel Management, Bodhgaya includes a full time 3 years B.Sc in Hotel and Hospitality Administration course and two Diploma Programmes for One & Half Year duration each in Food Production and Food and Beverage Service trade.
Our institute has been setup jointly by Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Department of Tourism, Government of Bihar, started in the year 2009 offering full time courses, many course of short duration and various language like Thai, Chinese, French and Japanese language course etc.
