Institute of Management Studies Roorkee, established in 1996 is one of the premier institutes of higher Professional Management Education affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. The Management Institute, Roorkee offers numerous programs in Commerce, Computer and Management discipline at the UG and PG level. Admission to the UG courses offered by the institute is done based on the candidate’s performance in the previous qualifying examination, whereas for MBA course admission is done based on the candidate’s performance in the national level management entrance examination such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT.
The placement cell at IMS, Roorkee aims at providing placement to maximum number of students. Some of the top recruiters of the institute are Bisleri, HCL, ITC Limited, India Bulls, ICICI Limited among others.
