National Institute of Technology Uttrakhand, also known as NIT Uttrakhand or NIT UK, established in 2009. NIT Uttarakhand was ranked in the #101–150 band out of 300 B.Tech colleges in India in the NIRF 2024 rankings. Collegedunia ranked NIT UK #70 out of 762 B.Tech colleges in India. NIT Garhwal offers admissions to UG, PG, and PhD in different specilizations. The admission in B.Tech and M.Tech is through JEE Mains and GATE, respectively. The Institute also offers Ph. D. in the streams of Engineering, Sciences, and Humanities.
NIT UK offers B.Tech. as its flagship program with six different specializations. NIT Uttarakhand B.Tech 2025 fee for the first year is INR 1.60 lakhs and admissions is based on the eligibility criteria that the candidate must have qualified 10+2 with at least 75% marks from a recognized board with PCM. NIT Garhwal also offers admission to the M.Tech program and M.Tech 2025 fee is INR 1.07 Lakhs for the first year.
