Noida International University, also known as NIU Noida, is a private university established in 2010 under U.P. LEGISLATURE ACT NO. 27 OF 2010 and recognized by Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is proudly sponsored by the Maruti Educational Trust university is approved by UGC and NCTE. The highest score of 3.44 out of 4, with Grade A+ in the first cycle of NAAC accreditation, outperformed all other private state universities in India. The university has been ranked 81st in the Overall category by IIRF in 2024.

NIU Noida Admission is based on NSAT (NIU Scholarship cum Admission Test) for technical courses and through GDPI for non-technical courses. The university also accepts admission to UG and PG courses based on CUET scores. For admission to the PhD, the university conducts an entrance exam followed by an interview. - Freedom Fighters Scholarship: 20% tuition fee concession for Indian students who are the son/daughter or grandson/granddaughter of Freedom Fighters.
- Defense Scholarship: 20% tuition fee concession for Indian students whose parents are serving in the Armed Forces, Paramilitary, or State Police.
- Disability Scholarship: 20% tuition fee concession for students with more than 50% physical impairment, applicable for the entire course duration.
- Employee Scholarship: 20% tuition fee concession for the first year for the son /daughter /spouse of NIU employees, valid while the staff member is in service.
- Sibling Scholarship: 20% tuition fee concession for one sibling (blood relation only); terms and conditions apply
- Existing Student Scholarship: 20% tuition fee concession in the 1st year for current students scoring 60% or above and pursuing higher studies.
- Scholarship for Women: 20% tuition fee concession for female students with 60% or above marks, excluding MBA, BSc Nursing, GNM, B Pharma, and all diploma courses
