Mr. Naveen Jindal laid the foundation of the O.P. Jindal Global University in the year 2009 as a private university in Sonipat. NAAC, UGC, and the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India have approved the University, and it is recognised by BCI and AIU.
