Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes (SVGOI) was established in 2004 under the aegis of Sh. Raghunath Rai Memorial Education & Charitable Trust. The SVGOI offers more than 40 courses to students in nine domains. These courses are provided across the Pharmacy, Engineering, Management, Education, Law, and various other streams. These courses are offered through nine different colleges under SVGOI. These colleges are affiliated with the I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU), Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University (MRSPTU), and Punjabi University (Patiala). SVGOI Patiala has a state government university affiliation (Government Degree) and is accredited by the NAAC. The available courses are approved by PCI, NCTE, and AICTE. SVGOI Patiala offers a state-of-the-art infrastructure consisting of a girls' hostel, gym, auditoriums, boys' hostel, cafeteria, medical facilities, labs, library, sports complex, Wi-Fi campus, and others.

Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes has concluded the placements for the Class of 2024. The institute recorded 96% placements for Engineering, 97% Pharmacy, 90% Business Management, 92% Computer Application and 91% Hotel Management placements for the batch 2024. The highest package offered during the Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes placements 2024 stood at INR 60 LPA, which was offered to the students of the BTech batch 2024. Further, the highest package offered to the MBA, MCA and HM batch 2024 stood at INR 24 LPA. The highest package offered to the Pharmacy batch 2024 stood at INR 28 LPA, whereas the highest package offered to the BCA batch 2024 stood at INR 6.2 LPA. The top recruiters of Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes in 2024 included Amazon, TCS, Decathlon, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Deloitte, Wipro, Dabur, HDFC Bank, Accenture, Jio, Cognizant, etc.

MBA: Placement percentage reached 90%. 52 students attended the placement process, of which 47 were placed. Highest package - INR 25 LPA.

MCA: Decent placement record of 92% placements. Highest package - INR 25 LPA.

Pharmacy: Recorded 97% placement rate with the highest package of INR 28 LPA.

BCA: Good placements recorded with 97% of BCA Class 2024 placed. Highest package - INR 6.2 LPA

SVGOI has a very well equipped libraries for catering to the needs of students, research scholars and faculty in their respective streams. All libraries together has a stock of more than 30000 text and reference books, journals and magazines, information aids including news papers, market reports and many other necessary outputs. The library functions on an open access system for the faculty, staff and students.

SVGOI’s COVID-19 Scholarship Program

SVGOI’s COVID-19 Scholarship program is for financially affected parents due to COVID-19.

The scholarship program is provided by SRNR Memorial and Charitable Trust.

Seats are limited under this program and will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis.

All applicants have to provide a low-income certificate and proof of residence from the relevant official authority at the time of admission.

Applicants will be required to submit original documents at the time of booking seats.

If we aren’t able to conduct physical classes, SVGOI will provide online classes to all the students.
