BITSAT 2026 Latest Updates
BITS Pilani has announced the BITSAT 2026 exam on the official website in two sessions:
- For Session 1: 15 April to 17 April 2026.
- For Session 2: 24 May to 26 May 2026.
As per the previous year’s data, around 3,00,000 candidates registered, but the seat intake for all three BITS campus was recorded to be around 3,000, showing a very tough competition.
The registration for BITSAT 2026 for both sessions will be on their website on the following dates:
- For Session 1: The registration has already started on 15 December 2025 and ends on 16 March 2026.
- For Session 2: Registration is from 20 April to 2 May 2026.
The candidates who have passed Class 12th exam with PCM or PCB as their primary subjects with minimum required aggregate and subject-wise marks are eligible to appear for BITSAT 2026.
The exam pattern and syllabus are expected to largely remain the same as previous year, with no major changes announced so far.

BITSAT 2026 Registration
The BITSAT 2026 started on 15 December 2025 and concludes on 16 March 2026 for Session 1, with the BITSAT exam dates in April on its official website.
The application for the BITSAT session 2 is set to start in April 2026, with the exam scheduled to be conducted from May 24 to 26, 2026.

- 30 questions will be asked, each from Physics and Chemistry.

BITSAT Syllabus 2026
The BITSAT syllabus 2026 will have a total of 6 subjects aligned with the NCERT curriculum of Classes 11 and 12, ensuring that students are evaluated based on their foundational knowledge and understanding and a total of 50 chapters diided into: 18 Physics, 14 Chemistry, 12 Mathematics/Biology, 4 English, 2 Logical Reasoning.

- You must have passed class 12th with a minimum of 5 subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, one language and an additional subject.
- With PCM subjects, you are eligible to apply for all the courses offered by BITS campuses.
- With PCB subjects, you are only eligible for theBPharm and BE Environmental and Sustainability Engineering courses.
- If you are currently enrolled in any program at BITS campuses, you are not eligible to appear for BITSAT 2026.
