Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a university-level entrance cum scholarship test conducted by
Chandigarh University for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered in Management, Engineering, Law, Arts, and other streams. CUCET is used for admission cum scholarship purposes which offers a chance-to-all to win scholarships and study at Chandigarh University.

CUCET 2026 Application Form
CUCET 2026 Applications for Phase I are open. Applications for CUCET are accepted through both online and offline modes. However, the CUCET exam will be conducted online only. The candidates can fill out the application form online on the official website of Chandigarh University. For offline applications, the candidates are required to visit the university where they can obtain the CUCET Brochure cum application form by paying an amount of INR 1,000.

CUCET 2026 Admit Card

- CUCET Admit Card will be sent to the registered email address of the candidate after submitting the application form.
- The admit card will contain the personal information of the candidate and the date, time, and center of the examination.
If any candidate did not receive the admit card then S/he shall immediately report to the office of the university. CUCET 2026 Result
CUCET 2026 Result will be declared in online mode, on the day of the exam itself. Candidates securing a minimum of 30% marks in the exam will be considered eligible for admission.
- The scorecard will be sent to the registered email ID of the candidates.
- After the results, a merit list will be prepared on the basis of the entrance results for the candidates who qualified in the exam.
- Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be intimated through email.
After the declaration of the result, the qualified candidates are required to deposit 30% of the admission fee within 15 days to confirm the admission and to avail of the scholarship benefits.

CUCET 2026 Exam Pattern

The exam will have 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and each question will have four options out of which one will be the correct answer. The section-wise questions in CUCET for different streams are as follows:
- For the engineering program, there will be 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and 10 questions from English.
- For medical courses, there will be 30 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and 10 questions from English.
- For arts and humanities streams there will be 10 questions from general science and 30 questions from English along with other compulsory sections.
- Candidates appearing for arts and humanities programs will be given a choice to select any two subjects among Political Science, Sociology, Economics, and History for the entrance test.
- General Science and English shall remain compulsory papers for the entrance test of the arts and humanities program.
- Candidates applying for the commerce stream will be asked 30 questions each from Economics, Accounts, and Business Studies.
- English will be a compulsory paper for the commerce stream with 10 questions in the entrance exam.
