KEAM 2026 Overview
The KEAM registration 2026 has started on January 5, 2026 and will be available till 31st January, 2026. The official KEAM 2026 notification on KEAM Exam dates is expected to be announced probably in February 2026.

The test is conducted by the CEE ( Commissioner for Entrance Examinations) for admission to B.Tech and B.Pharm courses, Department of Higher Education, Govt. of Kerala, through a single window system. Candidates with valid NATA JEE scores are eligible for admission in Architecture and Medical programs under the centralised allotment system managed by CEE.
More than 165 colleges in Kerala, whether government, government-controlled, or private institutions with self-financing programs, take KEAM scores for admission into engineering and pharmacy courses. Each year, almost 80,000 to 1.2 lakh candidates register for KEAM for admission purposes in engineering, pharmacy, architecture, and allied professional courses in Kerala. What is the KEAM Exam?

KEAM 2026 Registration Fees
- For the period from 2020 to 2025, the gradual increase observed for the KEAM application fees ranged from ₹700 for general candidates to ₹875.
- An increase was also observed in the fees for Architecture, Medical, and allied courses. Simultaneous application in both groups is costly, with a maximum fees of ₹1,300 in 2025 for candidates taking all the streams.

KEAM 2026 Application Fee
The KEAM 2026 application fee is the amount students need to pay to submit their exam form. Paying the fee is necessary for the application to be accepted. - Candidates can remit the application fee in online mode only.
- Candidates choosing ‘UAE’ as Examination Centre will have to remit an additional fee of Rs.16,000/- along with the application fee.
Documents Required for KEAM 2026 Application
The KEAM 2026 application process includes registering online, filling in personal and school details, uploading scanned documents, and paying the application fee. The application will not be accepted if the required documents are not uploaded by the last date, 7 February 2026. Candidates need a valid email ID and phone number to start the application. KEAM 2026 Admission Process for Medical & Allied Courses
Students who want admission to Medical or Medical Allied courses must appear for the NEET UG 2026 exam. This exam is needed for all medical seats. NEET UG 2026 is conducted by the National Testing Agency, also known as NTA. The KEAM 2026 medical admission process is based on the NEET UG score. Students must score the required marks to get admission. Without qualifying in NEET UG 2026, no medical seat will be given. This rule is the same for all medical and allied colleges.
KEAM 2026 Admission Process for Engineering & Architecture
The KEAM 2026 admission process explains who can apply for Engineering and Architecture courses in Kerala. Students must meet the education rules set by CEE. Marks from the qualifying exam are used to check eligibility. Different rules apply for Engineering and Architecture courses.
Engineering Courses
- Students must pass the Higher Secondary exam or an equal exam recognised in Kerala.
- Physics and Maths are compulsory subjects, and Chemistry should be one optional subject. Students need at least 45% marks together in these subjects.
- If Chemistry was not studied, marks in Computer Science can be used. If that was also not studied, Biotechnology marks are accepted. If none of these were studied, Biology marks will be considered.
- Marks shown in the official mark list will be used to decide eligibility. Two-year courses use marks from both years, and one-year final exams use final year marks only. Vocational Higher Secondary courses in Kerala are also accepted.
Architecture Course
- Students must pass the 10+2 exam with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects. One more subject such as Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, or a technical subject is required. At least 45% total marks are needed.
- Students with a 10+3 Diploma and Maths can also apply if they have 45% marks.
- Along with school marks, students must qualify in the NATA 2025 or 2026 exam. There is no mark relaxation for any category.
- Admission is allowed only from the first year. Joining the course in the second year is not permitted.

KEAM Eligibility Criteria 2026
- For KEAM 2026, candidates must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with at least 45% marks.
- Physics and Mathematics are mandatory, and Chemistry is required for engineering courses.
