Devnagari Polytechnic Overview
D.N Polytechnic Meerut is one of the oldest and renowned polytechnic of Uttar Pradesh. This institute was established in 1956 by Dev Nagri Society. In 1962 after the "Memorandum of Understanding" with state government, a dedicated society named "D.N. Polytechnic Society, Meerut" was formed by Government of UP. It is 100% aided by the government of Uttar Pradesh. Currently this Institute is offering five courses – Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science & Engineering and Post graduate Diploma in Bio- technology. All the courses are approved by AICTE New Delhi. All the admissions are done through Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP).
The Institute is continuously serving the society for last 65 year by providing technical man power .This year 2021 is the “Sapphire Jubilee” year of the Institute, well established alumni is sufficient to validate this claim of ours. Devanagari Polytechnic College, Meerut was established in 1956 started off as a private institute and started receiving government aid by 1962. It is situated at the Meerut- Delhi Highway. Devnagari Polytechnic Admission
D.N.Polytechnic College admissions are based on merit. The institute considers applications of candidates meeting the eligibility criteria. Devnagari Polytechnic Scholarship
All eligible students must apply through the website www.scholarship.up.nic.in. Newly admitted students must complete a fresh (error-free) new registration, and students who have passed the previous session must ensure timely renewal as per the current schedule (by 31/08/2018).
Students applying for the scholarship must take a printout of the scholarship form and get it checked by the committee members constituted by the institution. After verification, they must finally submit the form online and ensure it is error-free. The completed form, along with all required attachments, must be submitted in two copies to the institution’s team as soon as possible (without waiting for the last date).
Additionally, a PDF file of the completed form along with all attachments must be submitted through a pen drive and uploaded (fed) into the computer of the class-wise designated in-charges. Otherwise, eligible students will themselves be responsible for any consequences.
It is also informed that providing the Aadhaar card number in the scholarship form is mandatory for eligible students. The Aadhaar of the parent/guardian must also be linked as required. Furthermore, students must ensure that their bank account is linked with Aadhaar and is in running (active) condition. Completion of KYC formalities for the bank account is also mandatory.
