Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is a multidisciplinary private deemed-to-be university established in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar. SIU Pune is situated in the Lavale village area of Pune. SIU Pune has been awarded Category-I status by the UGC and received an ‘A++’ grade from NAAC. SIU Pune overall ranking by NIRF is 52 out of 200 colleges in India in 2024.
