Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU) is a government university located in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. It is recognized by the UGC and accredited with a ‘A++’ Grade by the NAAC. MJRPU has 563 affiliated colleges, out of which 56 are government-aided colleges and 507 are self-financed colleges.
MJPRU offers UG, PG, Doctoral, Diploma, and Certificate courses across multiple streams including Arts, Science, Engineering, Law, Management, Medicine, etc. MJPRU admisisons are based on merit or scores obtained in the entrance examination. MJPRU accepts scores of entrance examinations such as CUET, JEE Main, UGC NET, GATE, and GPAT, NEET. The university also conducts its own entrance examination for admission to its several courses.
MJRPU also provides placement and internship opportunities to all its students. Every year more than 70% of the students are placed in top-notch companies. The average salary package at MJPRU is INR 3-4 LPA, and the highest package can reach up to INR 25 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Wipro, Honda, TCS, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Cognizant, IBM, etc.
MJPRU Admit Card
MJPRU has released the admit card for all its UG and PG course entrance examinations. Candidates are required to download their admit cards from the official website of the college. It is to be noted that admit cards will be only released online and no candidate will receive their admit card by any other means. Candidates have to download their admit cards according to the course for which they have filled the form. Below are the steps to download your admit card:
- Visit the official exam portal.
- Find and click on Download Admit Card Link given in the top menu
- Enter the Application Form Number and captcha code
- Verify and Submit all the details on the website
- Your MJPRU Admit Card will be displayed on the screen
- Download the hall ticket in PDF format
- Take a printout of the admit card for future reference.
Note: Candidates who do not have their application form number, can obtain the same by clicking on the link provided on the exam portal. To find the application number, candidates will need to select their college, course, gender, candidates’ name and enter the security captcha provided on the page.
MJPRU Result
MJPRU conducts semester-wise examinations for all the UG, PG, and research programs. The university declares results usually after a month or two after successful completion of examinations. MJPRU also provides the opportunity for revaluation of answer keys. Students who are not satisfied with the marks can apply for revaluation by paying the required fee. MJPRU results can be checked and downloaded by visiting the official website of the university.

- Step 4: Result links of various courses will be displayed. Select the desired course result link
- Step 5: Enter the roll number or name of the candidate
- Step 6: Result will be displayed. Download the result for future reference.
MJPRU Placements
MJPRU has a training and placement cell that conducts placement drives every year. The cell also provides soft skills training and ogranises mocl interviews before the placement drive. Every year almost 70% of its students get placed in top-notch companies. Many MNCs from different sectors such as IT, Engineering, Management, Business Development, and Operations are visiting the campus to recruit students. MJPRU placement highlights are as follows:
- Most of the placements (more than 15%) at MJPRU are done in the field of sales and software engineering
- The average package of the University is around INR 3 LPA. However, the highest package offered last year was INR 24 LPA. Before that, the highest package was INR 17 LPA.
- CGPA of 7 and more than 7 is required for registration of placement in MJP Rohilkhand University.
MJPRU Scholarships
MJRU offers scholarships to meritorious students who come from different backgrounds. Scholarship details of the university is given below:
- The amount of scholarship depends upon the merit of the student as well as the background of the student. Students belonging to Schedule caste and Schedule Tribe groups are given preferences.
- Scholarships are given to those students whose parents' annual income pay is less than 2 lakh.
- Both the central and the state governments are equally responsible to distribute scholarships among the students.
