Interested candidates must satisfy the below mentioned eligibility criteria in order to get admission at MIET.

- For M.Tech, passed bachelor’s degree in related field
- For MBA, passed bachelor’s degree of 3 years duration
- Must have secured not less than 50% in qualifying exam (minimum 45% for SC / ST category candidates)
| MCA | Must have secured a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC / ST category candidates) in following qualifying exams: |
- Passed bachelor degree in CSE / BCA or equivalent degree
- Passed B.Com / B.Sc / BA or any other graduation degree along with Math in 10+2 standard or at graduation level
- Must have passed B.Pharm degree of 4 years duration with a minimum 55% (minimum 50% for SC / ST candidates)
- Must have obtained registration with State Pharmacy Council
- Must have passed 10+2 standard with PCM / PCB
