G.Pulla Reddy Engineering College also known as GPREC, was established in 1985 and is accredited by the NBA and NAAC with an A Grade. In 2025, Collegedunia ranked it 418th in the engineering category, while NIRF 2023 ranked it 151st in the engineering category.
The Institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs which lead to one primary degree: B.Tech. The Institute offers a B.Tech program in nine specialisations. Admission to the B.Tech program is through EAMCET exam. For 2024, the EAMCET cutoff rank for the general category ranged from 14948 - 175361. The B.Tech program at GPREC has a total fee of around INR 3.36 lakhs.
GPREC Placement Report for 2025 has not been released yet. As per the placement report 2024, the total number of offers was 508, and 390 students were placed. The highest package was INR 23 LPA, and the average salary package was INR 4.74 LPA. Some of the top recruiters are Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Intel, Amazon, and others.
